About the Authors
Renowned woodworker Thomas J. MacDonald graduated from the North Bennet Street School in Boston’s North End in 2002. Since then, he’s been featured in Forbes Magazine, Fine Woodworking, and The Boston Globe. He’s been honored to have his furniture displayed at the Massachusetts Historical Society, The Pendleton House at RISD’s Museum of Art, and the Concord Museum. He lives in Canton, Massachusetts.
Laurie Donnelly is the Executive Producer in charge of WGBH-TV Lifestyle Programming and is the Executive Producer/Director of Rough Cut. She lives right outside of Boston.

This is a very nice book. Tommy gives very good details on the backgrounds for each project. I found these to be very informative. It almost seems like he is talking to you, similarly to his TV program. Also, the pictures are very good. I like the feel of the book as well. It is well made.
